About stylesmc

Born in Zambia on the 4th June 1980 as Malenge Terence Ngondo, Styles MC aka The Briefcase Bandit, The Glad Hand, The Shariff & various other alias lived and studied there until he moved to England in 1990 for study purposes. Thetr completed his General Certificate in Standard Education in 1996 and A- Levels in 1998.
Although never deciding to take up Music, Acting or the Arts academically Styles maintained a great interest in music and acting in a number of School plays aswell as directing some. A passionate collector of Hiphop, RnB and Urban Dance music, on Holidays in Zambia in the late 90s he would regularly DJ (a hobby of his) for Cosmopolitan Night Club, Black Velvet night club and Sugar Shack Sounds to name a few.
He had his first vocal performance along side his brother, Dangerous Guy aka Your Daily Bred, at Zambia’s first major Hip Hop Competition ‘The Million Kwacha Rap Contest’ in October of 1998 hosted by Chisha Folotiya aka Love Bug, (TV Presenter, ‘Carte Blanche’ in South Africa and owner of ‘Tiyende Magazine’ and ‘Mondo music', major brands in Zambia) and Trendsetters youth Magazine. This also allowed Styles MC the opportunity to do his first radio interviews and skits with Radio Phoenix 89.5FM (still one of the largest private radio stations in Zambia today).
From 1999 to 2004 Styles continued to DJ at University and acutually luanched an event promotion company called Unified Promotions for West End, London Urban music shows. Still continueing to write music and lyrics; writing songs for friends in College bands, he never recorded anything until back in Zambia in 2004.
Since then he hass launched his own Sound and Music, Video and Fashion production house as Bomb Shelter Entertainment in 2005; blending his eclectic and funky mix of Hip hop, RnB, Reggae, classical and various Afro and dance musics and his charismatic and comical character. He has produced over 150 tracks, several music videos, the Styles Wear Clothing Label and hosted several events under Unified Promotions over the last 14 years.

We On The Game is the 1st Single release from 

veteran Zambian rapper Styles MC’s 6th Album 

release “2 Kool 4 Skool”. After a 4 year break, 

Styles MC has put together his most eclectic Afro 

fusioned song and diverse video ever to 

accompany this first single.

Having begun his music career as a private DJ in 1996 with performances with notorious sound systems 

and clubs like Sugar Shack sounds, RPM 8000 and Black Velvet, Styles MC made his rapping debut as a 

runner up at the Million Kwacha Rap Contest at Olympic Pool (Rhodes Park) in 1998; Sponsored by 

Tiyende Magazine, Trend Setters, Radio Phoenix and Chisha Folotiya to launch Mondo Music.

He has since launched his own studio called Bomb Shelter Entertainment in 2005 and produced released 

over 5 albums and 80 tracks with his last release BSE- The Remixes Vol. 1 coming out in 2016. Hits 

include Mic Check, Ghost Stories, World Gone Sad, Groove & What We Do This For. A long with his 

studio, he also runs a Marketing, Advertising, Branding, Web Management and Corporate Printing

organization.

With the track production, recording and mixing being spread over several years and engaging Drex

(now of House Of Drex), the legendary producer of David Sling music the song concept and finalizing was 

of the highest local standard. 

The music video along with Styles MC involved a crew of 3 professional models, 4 Bike stunters of Born 

To Ride crew, 2 camera operators and one editor and was shot at Hero’s Stadium and Jaro Gym 

(Carousal Mall) in Lusaka.

After the single launch we are set to hear and see more TV and Radio interviews and shows featuring 

Styles MC and several live performances already being planned by BSE’s own Event Management 

Unified Promotions and other Clubs and promoters.
